JNA Announces Growth in Leadership

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – JNA Advertising is expanding capabilities to stay ahead in an industry that moves at light speed. Agency leaders announced the changes Monday; they include a new business analytics division, enhanced digital and public relations capabilities, and a new President.

JNA Founder and CEO John Nohe detailed the changes with a quote from retired Army General Eric Shinseki: “If you don’t like change, you are going to like irrelevance even less.”

Jordan Garcia — President of JNA Advertising

To position JNA for future growth, Nohe named Jordan Garcia President of JNA Advertising in December. The role adds to Garcia’s duties as general manager of the full-service agency. JNA drives business and marketing for a number of animal health companies, state agencies including the Kansas Lottery and Kansas Department of Transportation, and retail stores.

In addition to driving excellence at JNA, Garcia is responsible for daily operations, as well as oversight of the agency’s brand activation department. Garcia holds expert knowledge of brand strategy, customer relations, media planning, buying and negotiation.

“Jordan has an exceptional grasp of evolving marketing technologies,” Nohe said. “He will play a critical role in ensuring that JNA is proactively providing our clients the best and most dynamic agency services.”

“I will continue to encourage high standards, fantastic thinking, breakthrough creative, and identify new ways to grow business for our clients,” Garcia said.

Since 2011, Garcia has risen through the JNA ranks. He started as Media Director, advancing to Vice President and Director of Brand Activation before being named General Manager in 2014. Prior to joining JNA, Garcia held leadership positions at Barkley and Starcom. Garcia earned his bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Kansas in 2006.

Nohe will remain actively engaged as CEO in driving the company’s direction and success. Nohe has been a fixture in the Kansas City advertising community for nearly 40 years, having held senior management positions at Bernstein Rein, Barkley, and Muller, now Muller Bressler Brown, before founding JNA Advertising 13 years ago.

Brent Gill — Director of Business Analysis

JNA clients can take their business to the next level in 2017 with another enhancement—the agency’s first-ever business analytics wing. As Director of Business Analytics, Brent Gill will head up efforts to monitor and evaluate marketing campaigns to measure return on investment in more detail than ever. Gill’s experience measuring sales performance against promotional metrics, analyzing media delivery and creative messaging will lead to increased marketing efficiencies.

Gill has nearly two decades of industry experience, coming to JNA from Keypath, a company that specializes in marketing programs for universities.

The actions demonstrate a commitment to staying ahead in an evolving industry landscape. JNA has continually broken through traditional service lines to integrate the social, digital, and research services that drive business results for its clients. In 2016, the agency added a full suite of public relations services to its brand activation arsenal. Two years ago, the agency brought video services in-house, reducing production fees and saving valuable time on client projects.
